Panic & Anxiety App

About

What this site is

Free, private help for panic and anxiety attacks: the Panic Reset, a guided breathing and grounding exercise for the moment an attack starts; the Panic Plan, a personal plan you prepare while you are calm; and guides that answer common questions about panic with the sources they rely on.

  • No account and no ads.
  • What you choose or type in the tools stays in your browser; see the privacy policy.
  • Every guide lists its sources and the date it was last reviewed.

Who makes it

A small independent team that also builds free self-help tools for sleep, caffeine, drinking less and overthinking. We are also building the Panic & Anxiety mobile app; this site is free to use whether or not you ever try it.

Who it is for

People who have panic or anxiety attacks and want something that helps right now, or want to understand what is happening and prepare for the next one. It is self-help, not medical care: it does not diagnose or treat anything. If this is your first episode, or you have chest pain, pain spreading to your arm or jaw, or you are fainting, call your local emergency number.
